These are three beautiful pink rubies from Tanzania. The set contains two small ovals and a large teardrop-shaped cabochon. Ruby are the pink and red variant of the Mineral Corundum. Corundum can also have other colors, but then it is called Sapphire. Ruby is one of the classic gemstones. But not many people know that the quality of Robijn can vary enormously and so can the prices. The most expensive rubies are the crystal clear pidgeon blood red Rubies.
