This Jasper comes from Limburg, I found it in a gravel pit. This gravel hole is somewhere on the border with Germany, or perhaps just over the border. But I can't remember this very well anymore. I specifically brought this stone with me because it contains not only Jasper, but also pure white quartz. The distinction between the red Jasper and the quartz is very clear. And this makes it a very special cabochon.
