Lapis lazuli - Afganistan
A beautiful dark blue lapis with a few clouds of white sodalite, pyrite is also abundant in this stone. Lapis lazuli is a rock that is mainly mined in Aganistan. It is a type of marble that changes composition/structure through contact metamorphosis. This gemstone has been mined and manufactured since ancient times. The dark blue color of Lapis is caused by the mineral Lazurite.
This stone has a lot of blue with a little white Sodalite and golden yellow Pyrite, a combination that is popular in Lapis lazuli. It is a freeform, which is, as it were, crooked diamond-shaped with rounded corners.
