This is a teardrop-shaped cabochon of petrified wood from Madagascar. The petrified wood from Madagacar is nowadays very popular and widely traded. It has very beautiful colours, and the wood structure is often very visible. Unfortunately, I did not have an exact location of the raw material. The material probably comes from the Mahajanga province and is 220 million years old. But I am not completely sure about this.

The wood structure is still clearly visible in this drop-shaped cabochon. The colors are also very variable in this stone. The top is dark brown and the bottom is lighter brown. With reddish-brown tones on the sides.
