Unakiet - Zuid-Afrika
Unakite is a metamorphic rock that is formed from granite that has been put under high pressure. It contains the pink Feldspar Orthoclase, gray Quartz and a light green Epidote.
These stones together form a pair! Both stones have a beautiful band of pink to beige colored Orthoclase. Furthermore, the stones are predominantly green Epidote and some inconspicuous specks of gray quartz. This unakite comes from South Africa and I found it myself in May 2024!
