This elongated XL cabochon is a limestone breccia from the Devonian (approx. 380 million years old). Found in the Hohenlimburgerkalkwerde in Hagen, Germany. A large limestone quarry where limestone is still extracted for construction to this day. Among mineral/fossil collectors it is mainly known as a quarry where minerals and fossils can still be searched for regularly.
