Thulite - USA
I made this XL cabochon from a beautiful pink Thulite from Nevada, USA. The stone itself was in a lot with several specimen minerals that I bought at the mineral show in Munich. So I only had a rough piece of this type of Thulite in stock, and I chose to cut it into a nice large cabochon.
The Thulite itself is solid with some internal cracks, which I believe are not harmful to the stone itself. The color of the cabochon is beautiful pink alternating with some green.
